Terrace Middle School

Terrace Middle SchoolWelcome to Our School
Welcome to the Terrace Middle School website! Terrace Middle School is a unique 4th through 8th grade school in Lakeport California. Our 4th, 5th and 6th grade classrooms are self-contained learning centers. The 7th and 8th grade students follow a traditional 6 six period school day. Our motto at TMS is “Live to Learn” and each day is a new opportunity to learn and grow for all of our students.

I am proud to have been a part of the TMS family for the last ten years. Our outstanding staff is known for their commitment to helping students learn and for their high degree of expertise and enthusiasm. Our API, CST, and STAR scores are indications that TMS students are on the road to success. We are proud of the fact that our 7th and 8th graders continue to have the highest CST math scores in all of Lake County.

Through ongoing collaboration, our teachers have developed a program that exemplifies high academic standards, character education, and technology. We analyze classroom data as well as state assessments and set goals to meet the needs of the whole child. We continue to seek new ways to best meet the needs of our students, both socially and academically.

We welcome parents and family to join us as volunteers in the classrooms and at all activities. Together we can create an effective learning environment for our students.
